A clearing in the trees inspired a poem:

The Skattersall

V1. Within the misty, sullen woods, beside the swollen brook,

Resides the secret Skattersall, that hides inside each nook.

Each dusty crevice is her home, she hides from prying eyes,

And on a windy twisty night, she sits and knits and cries.

V2. She's howling for the children dear ...
